Mumbai: Actress Sonam Kapoor took to Twitter and posted the first look poster from her upcoming film. Sonam will be seen playing the role of a flight attendant Neerja Bhanot in the movie.
Sonam said that the biopic on Neerja, who died in the hijacking of flight 73 in Karachi in 1986, is the ‘most special film’ to her.
Neeja Bhanot was the chief purser on Pan Am Flight 73. She was killed by the hijackers when she was helping the passengers escape from the hijacked plane.
The movie also features actress Shabana Azmi in a prominent role. Photographer Atul Kasbekar will produce the film.
