Mr. Lalit Modi, the former Chairman of the Indian Premier League (IPL) officially announced his relationship with former Miss Universe and Bollywood actress Ms. Sushmita Sen.
On the 14th of July, Thursday, Mr. Lalit Modi took to Instagram and dropped some adorable cosy pictures of himself with Ms. Sushmita Sen. He even referred to herself as the better half.
The tweet posted with a couple of pictures read, Just back in London after a whirling global tour #maldives # sardinia with the families – not to mention my #betterhalf @sushmitasen47 – a new beginning a new life finally. Over the moon (sic.)”
In another tweet, Mr. Lalit Modi read, “Okay I commit “@thesushmitasen: @LalitKModi you are too kind. However, promises are meant to be broken, commitments are honoured. Cheers love. Here is to 47.”
The announcement has sent the internet into a frenzy as nobody had anticipated that they could be dating.
Meanwhile, the post also surprised the brother of Ms. Sushmita Sen, who reacted to this sudden announcement. Sushmita Sen’s brother Rajeev Sen, in a media interaction, said, “I am pleasantly surprised too. I will speak to my sister about this.”
