The Movie Artistes Association (MAA) ruled out giving a membership to aspiring actress Sri Reddy. This decision comes after the actress stripped in front of the Film Chamber in Hyderabad. The top body stated the announcement was made based on the actress’ behavior.
The MAA office bearer Sivaji Raja said, “Because of her behavior, the actress cannot be given membership.” Mr. Raja also stated the actress was given an application for the membership earlier but was not filled out properly.
On Saturday, Sri Reddy stripped in public to stage a protest at the Film Chamber office in Hyderabad. The actress alleged the local artists were not given a fair opportunity in Tollywood. She further stated the association refused to issue her a membership.
The association rejected her accusations and stated several Telugu actresses got the required opportunities in this film industry. The police booked a case against Sri Reddy for obscene acts in a public place under the Indian Penal Code.
