On the 9th of December, the IMDb ranked Suriya’s “Jai Bhim” and Siddharth Malhotra’s “Shershaah,” as top movies released in the year 2021. IMDb.
The movie and the series has been ranked as the top two movies and series of India in 2021. IMDb releases a lp list of top 10 movies, released in India between the 1st of January to the 26th of November, theatrically and digitally.
Shershaah, which was released in August was a biopic of Kargil war hero Vikram Batra and their mission. The movie is based on a real life Indian Army hero, who fought against Pakistan in the 1999 Kargil War and died during the war.
Meanwhile, rated as top Indian series, South Indian actor Suriya’s Jai Bhim is a legal drama, released in Telugu language.
Besides, “Shershaah” and “Jai Bhim”, Rohit Shetty’s “Sooryavanshi” starring Akshay Kumar, has been ranked in the third spot, based on views.
