Sarfaraz told the media, his father is admitted in one of Canada’s hospitals and is undergoing treatment.
Mr. Khan is suffering from Progressive Supranuclear Palsy (a rare brain disorder which leads to dementia and issues related to walking and maintaining body balance.)
The 81 year old actor is also having breathing issues, due to which the doctors transferred him to a BiPAP (Bilevel Positive Airway Pressure) ventilator.
Born in Kabul in the year 1937, Kader Khan is a renowned Indian Canadian Bollywood actor, comedian, dialogue writer and director. He entered the world of films with his debut film Daag (1973) featuring Rajesh Khanna.
Kader Khan’s journey in Bollywood includes super hit movies such as Suhag (1994,) Dulhe Raja (1998,) Baap Numberi Beta Dus Numberi (1990,) Umar 55 Ki Dil Bachpan Ka (1992,) Judaai (1997) and Joru ka Ghulam (2000.)
Prior to starting his Bollywood career, Kader Khan taught Civil Engineering as a professor at a college in Mumbai and also worked as a dialogue writer. He wrote dialogues for as many as 250 movies, out of which, one of the best remembered movies till date is Amar Akbar Anthony (1977.)
While many Hindi film lovers remember #KaderKhan as the funny man of the ‘90s, it was his proficiency as dialogue writer that really set him apart. Most so-called “massy” writers today can’t come close to the kind of one-liners he came up with in movies like ‘Amar Akbar Anthony’.
