Chennai: Kamal Haasan starrer “Uttama Villain” will hit screens today. The much-talked-about movie was expected to release on Friday but due to dispute between financers and producers, the shows had to be cancelled.
One of the distributors told that the issue between the filmmakers and financers is expected to be settled in a few hours and the movie may release during the course of the day.
Directed by Ramesh Arvind, the film will be screened in theatres today.
The film features an ensemble cast that includes Kamal Hassan, Jayaram, Andrea Jeremiah, Pooja Kumar, Nassar, Parvathi, Parvathy Nair and Urvashi.
The movie also stars late K. Balachander and K. Vishwanath in cameo roles. M. Ghibran composed the soundtrack album and background score for the film.
