Mumbai: Actress Kareena Kapoor Khan has been reportedly roped in to romance Arjun Kapoor in his next project, according to sources. Reports revealed that the Kareena is all set to star opposite Arjun in the yet-to-be titled project of filmmaker R Balki. Buzz says that the project is a rom-com.
Though, the news has come up a few weeks ago, the latest development is that the couple will be playing the roles of a married couple in the movie. Another twist is that the woman in the story is older than the man and the casting is done according to it. It is learnt that the film is a fresh take on love stories and is very much in the rom-com space.
Now, one has to wait and watch how the tinsel town receives the new pairing on the screens and how the duo will carry their roles. Even though, the pairing of Kareena and Imran Khan failed to bag enough credits at box office with movie “Ek Main Aur Ekk Tu”, the couple was received well. However, an official announcement is still awaited in this regard.
At present, Kareena is busy with her upcoming movies “Bajrangi Bhaijaan” opposite Salman Khan and “Udta Punjab”.
