Krishna Kumari the well renowned yesteryear actress passed away. The actress who was 84 has acted in over 200 Telugu, Kannada and Tamil films. She managed to dominate the South Indian film industry for more than two decades. The actress passed away on Wednesday at her residence in Bengaluru.
Kumari was in Kannada films like Asha Sundari, Swarna Gauri, Shrishaila Mahatme, Bhakta Kanakadasa, Dashavatara, Sati Savithri and Chandrakumara. She has shared the big screen with many legendary actors including Rajkumar.
Krishna Kumari was born in 1933 and made her debut with the Telugu film Navvithe Navaratnalu. She has starred in films will Tollywood stars Akkineni Nageshwara Rao, N. T. Rama Rao, Shivaji Ganesan, Jaggayya and Kantha Rao. This brilliant actress quit at the peak of her career to settle down on a farm on the outskirts of Bengaluru.
This actress managed to woo the South Indian crowd for years and she was also facilitated with the President’s Award.
