Mary Poppins, everyone’s favorite nanny will be back on the big screen this Christmas. The first teaser trailer for Mary Poppins Returns was released by Disney at the 2018 Oscars early this morning. The trailer gives you a glimpse into the windy world of the magical nanny.
As the trailer begins it reminds you of Bert (Dick Van Dyke) singing, “Winds in the East, like something, is brewing, about to begin.” Just in time for Mary Poppins to land down on earth holding her iconic umbrella.
Mary Poppins Returns is a follow up to the 1964 film Mary Poppins featuring Julie Andrews and Dick Van Dyke. The new installment of the film will see Emily Blunt playing Mary Poppins. Dick Van Dyke will resume his role as Bert and Lin Manuel Miranda portrays Bert’s apprentice Jack. For those who don’t remember it is always a jolly holiday with Mary Poppins.
