Neeraj Vora: The Man Behind Ajay Devgan’s Golmaal Passes Away

Neeraj Vora renowned Bollywood actor, writer and filmmaker passed away at a Mumbai hospital on Thursday. The artist was only 54 years old. Ashok Pandit confirmed Vora’s demise.

Filmmaker Pandit said, “He (Neeraj Vora) had been in coma and living at Firoz Nadiadwala’s place. When his condition deteriorated in the night, he was taken to the hospital, where he breathed his last.”

Neeraj Vora went into a coma in 2016 after suffering a heart attack and a stroke. Producer Firoz Nadiadwala took Neeraj into his home and converted a room into an Intensive Care Unit (ICU.)

Today afternoon at 3 P.M., the actor will be cremated in Santa Cruz. The multitalented personality was well known for his written work. His initial work as a writer includes Circus a TV series that starred Shah Rukh Khan. Neeraj made his acting debut alongside Aamir Khan in Ketan Mehta’s Holi.

Neeraj Vora has starred in famous movies like Raju Ban Gaya Gentlemen, Mast, Pukar and Company and Akele Hum Akele Tum. He last appeared on the big screen in 2015 with Welcome Back. Everyone remembers the hilarious film by Rohit Shetty called Golmaal. The film was written by none other than Neeraj Vora.
