Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday greeted megastar Amitabh Bachchan on his 80th birthday.
“He is one of India’s most remarkable film personalities who has enthralled and entertained audiences across generations. May he lead a long and healthy life,” Modi said, wishing him a very happy birthday.
Even at 80, Bachchan is one of the busiest actors as he remains in demand in the Hindi film industry while continuing to spearhead the highly successful TV series ‘Kaun Banega Crorepati’ year after year.
Meanwhile, to mark Big B, Amitabh Bachchan’s birthday, on the occasion of Amitabh Bachchan’s turning 80-year-old, PVR Cinemas through an exclusive association with Film Heritage Foundation conducted a special screening of Amitabh Bachchan’s films. The special screening will begin on October 8 as a part of his 80th birthday celebrations.
The films were showcased as part of a film festival titled, ‘Bachchan Back to the Beginning’. Bollywood celebrities attended the screening and shared Don clips on social media.
Meanwhile, many celebrities and Bollywood stars extended birthday greetings to Mr. Amitabh Bachchan.
