There have been multiple rumors of Superstar Rajinikanth planning to join politics. Today, the actor started a six day long fan meet at the Raghavendra Kalyana Mandapam in Chennai. Rajinikanth’s fans have adamantly awaited a response from the megastar regarding his entry in politics.
Rajinikanth gave a speech and said, “There is much speculation on whether I will join politics. I shall announce my decision on 31st December.”
The past few months, the actor has dropped subtle hints about joining politics. But Rajinikanth explained he was hesitant as he’s had previous experience with politics. He was quoted saying, “I am not new to politics. I know what are the losses one incurs in politics, that is why I am reluctant. We need both prudence and strategy to enter politics”
The fans cheered and roared as Rajinikanth gave his resolve about winning in politics. He said, “If you step into the battlefield, you have to win.” Rajinikanth ended his short speech with, “Thank you, we will begin our work.”
Rajinikanth was joined by directors Kalaignanam and Mahendran. Director Mahendran spoke before Rajinikanth and said, “We can never know what Rajini is thinking or what he is planning to do.”
Several stars like Kamal Haasan and Vishal have joined politics. This has led to all eyes on Rajinikanth, hoping he will join politics soon.
