Renowned filmmaker Ram Gopal Varma will be releasing a new web series but this time in Telugu. The first international Telugu web series is titled Kadapa and revolves around the true story of the Reddy’s in Rayalseema.
The first official trailer for the series released today and watching the trailer gets you excited about the release of the show. It will be released in multiple seasons according to sources.
Kadapa’s trailer starts with a saying from the locals of Kadapa. It reads, “People of Kadapa come out of their mother’s wombs with knives in their hands.” This quote sets the stage for the gruesome reality that haunts this area in Andhra Pradesh.
The trailer goes on to show the violence and horror between the two factions in Rayalseema. The show is thrilling and exciting as the narrator says, “This is not based on a true story, but it’s actually a true story.” This statement gives you goosebumps as the eerie music builds up to the gruesome violence that makes your skin crawl.
