An investigation into the Tollywood actor Mr. Sai Sharam Tej’s accident case intensified.
On the 13th of September, the Hyderabad police said they would question Mr. Anil Kumar, the previous owner of the sports bike which slipped at a Telangana bridge and caused the accident. It is to be noted, the Tollywood star and the nephew of Megastar Chiranjeevi bought the sports bike from Mr. Anil Kumar, a resident of L.B. Nagar, Hyderabad. In addition, after an initial investigation, it was revealed that the registration process of the bike was pending and the bike was still owned and registered with the name of its previous owner Mr. Anil Kumar. In addition, the actor was also driving rashly with the bike speed of 75 kmph, 45 kmph more than the permitted speed. The police filed a case against the actor and said, “Based on the analysis of the evidence at the scene of incident and along the route, it is found out that the bike was driven at speed beyond the permissible speed on the road which is 30 kmph to 40 kmph. On the calculation of the average speed based on the CCTV footage, it has been found out that the bike was driven at an average speed of around 75 kmph near the accident spot.”
A case under sections 279 and 336 of the Indian Penal Code (IPC) and 184 of the Motor Vehicle (MV) Act was booked against Mr. Sai Dharam Tej. The police also said, the unfortunate accident would not have happened, if the actor had driven following the traffic rules within the permitted speed, which is 30-40 kmph.
It is to be noted, on the evening of the 10th of September, the Tollywood actor met with an accident, while riding his sports bike. After an initial investigation, it was reported Mr. Sai Dharam Tej slipped, resulting in a collarbone fracture and minor injuries. He was admitted to Apollo Hospital in Hyderabad and was undergoing treatment. Initially, the doctor denied the surgery, but later suggested the same and performed a collarbone surgery.
Meanwhile, after a collarbone surgery, the actor is doing fine and stable. The health condition of the actor was updated by the Apollo Hospital’s doctors. The team of doctors treating Mr. Sai Sharam Tej said, they successfully conducted the collarbone surgery and confirmed his health condition to be stable.
As of now, Mr. Sai Dharam Tej is under the supervision of doctors at Apollo Hospital, Hyderabad.
In addition, the police are conducting an investigation regarding the tragic accident and are likely to update soon.
