Mumbai: While many criticized the video of Tanmay Bhat, Bollywood actress Sonam Kapoor poured her support to him saying that she is shocked with people’s over reaction. Recently, the co-founder of the comedy group All India Bakchod was slammed with hate comments for mocking the conversation between the Indian icons Sachin Tendulkar and Lata Mangeshkar.
Many people including celebs Riteish Deshmukh, Anupam Kher and other political leaders demanded a strict action against the controversial video.
But the actress tweeted, “Dear Tanmay Bhat, being your friend I know what you say and do is never to offend, but to make people laugh.”
“Don’t you guys think there are issues that are more important than Tanmay Bhat’s Snapchat jokes? I’m in shock with this over reaction,” she added.
She further tweeted, “Being living legends, I know Sachin Tendulkar and Lata Mangeshkar don’t even know and care about what’s going on! Stop spewing hate on their behalf.”
