Sridevi’s mortal remains were flown in from Dubai on a private jet yesterday evening. The megastar’s body will be taken to the Celebrations Sports Club for a public viewing.
An official statement released by Sridevi’s family asks fans and loved ones to come pay their respects. The public viewing will be held at the club in Mumbai from 9:30 A.M., to 12:30 P.M.
Sridevi will then be taken to the crematorium at 2 P.M. The last rites for the sensational actor will take place at 3:30 P.M. Hundreds of the actress’ fans gathered at her residence in Lokhandwala as the ambulance brought the body from the airport.
The Dubai Police investigated the case after the forensic report stated accidental drowning as the cause of her demise. The police questioned the family and hotel staff and verified Sridevi’s call log. The Dubai Public Prosecution has closed the case and approved the demise was due to drowning. They also ruled out any foul play and stated it as an accident.
Boney Kapoor found Sridevi unconscious in the bathtub. The actress was freshening up to go to dinner with her family. Sridevi was in Dubai with her husband Boney Kapoor and daughter Khushi to attend a family wedding.
