S.S. Rajamouli’s upcoming and most awaited film RRR’s filming finally resumed after 6 months halt.
The upcoming most anticipated film under the directorship of S.S. Rajamouli stars Tollywood actors like NTR, Ram Charan and Bollywood actors like Ajay Devgn, Alia Bhatt and Hollywood actors like Olivia Morris, Ray Stevenson and Alison Doody.
The principal photography and shoot of RRR started in 2018.
After Baahubali 2: The Conclusion, this is another big project.
Due to the Novel Coronavirus pandemic, the shoot was in halt since March.
However, after several months, S.S. Rajamouli and official Twitter handle of the film RRR announced to resume the shoot.
The tweet of S.S. Rajamouli read, “Life has already become a new normal. We have to adapt to it and move on. And so our shoot resumes… 🙂
Await #RamarajuforBheemOnOct22.. #WeRRRBack.”
In another tweet, Mr. Rajamouli posted a short 1 minute video showing the arrangements and activities to resume the shoot.
The video conveyed a message, “The shoot of our film went on quite productively until March. But then the world stopped, so did we. Now it is time to get back onto the sets with double the grit.”
Official Twitter handle of RRR read, “Rested. Recharged. Raring to go. And that’s how #WeRRRBack!! (sic).”
It also showed the glimpses about the safety measures taken before resuming filming and production work.
RRR is said to be a period action drama film, based on two Indian freedom fighters against Britishers. It is a fictional story set in the pre-independence era (1920) and based on the lives of two well-known revolutionaries Alluri Sitarama Raju and Komaram Bheem.
While the editing is by Sreekar Prasad, the film’s cinematography is by K.K.Senthil Kumar.
The movie stars Jr. N.T. Rama Rao as Komaram Bheem and Ram Charan as Alluri Seetharama Raju.
The first look of Jr. NTR, which was supposed to be released on the 20th of May, his birthday, would now release on the 22nd of October.
The film was earlier scheduled to be released on the 30th of July 2020.
Later, on the 5th of February 2020, a new release date of 8th of January 2021 was announced.
On the 25 March 2020, the expansion of the title RRR is revealed as Roudram Ranam Rudhiram in Telugu, Raththam Ranam Rowthiram in Tamil, Roudra Rana Rudhira in Kannada (all of which translate to Rage, War, Blood) and Rise Roar Revolt in Hindi.
The movie is going to be released in 10 different languages worldwide.
