Sushant Singh Rajput death case took another turn after the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) came up with a drug angle in the death.
According to sources, the Enforcement Directorate (ED) officials have got the details of Rhea Chakraborty’s Whatsapp chats alleging her, with the use and dealing of drugs.
These are the two charges which the ED team has come across through Rhea’s chats.
In addition, the ED is also investigating the money laundering angle, against actress Rhea Chakraborty.
In regard to this, the ED recorded the statements of Sushant’s father KK Singh, sisters Priyanka and Meetu, Rhea and her family members, filmmaker Rumi Jaffery, Siddharth Pithani, Shruti Modi, Samuel Miranda and others.
While the CBI and the ED are probing the drug angle in the case, a Member of Parliament (MP) of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Subramanian Swamy also alleged of poison and drug usage to kill the Bollywood actor.
Mr. Swamy who claimed Sushant Singh Rajput’s death to be a murder said, the autopsy of Sushant was “deliberately forcibly delayed” to make sure the poisons in his system would dissolve ‘beyond recognition.’
Taking to his official Twitter handle, Mr. Swamy said, “Now the diabolical mentality of the killers and their reach is being slowly revealed: autopsy was deliberately forcibly delayed so that the poisons in SSR’s stomach dissolves beyond recognition by the digestive fluids in the stomach. Time to nail those who are responsible.”
The allegation comes after a few politician alleged Sushant of being involved with a ‘Dubai compliant drug dealer’ on the day of his demise.
He asked in a tweet, “In Sushant case a Dubai compliant drug dealer Ayash Khan had met Sushant on the day of Sushant’s murder. Why?”
Subramanian Swamy who is actively tweeting about the Sushant Singh Rajput death case claiming it to be a murder said to enquire Sandip who is said to be best friend of Sushant and was also present on the day when Sushant allegedly committed suicide.
According to a forensic officer on the 24th of August, claimed that traces of the chemicals in a body last for about six hours and Sushant’s autopsy was done approximately 10 hours after his body was recovered.
The forensic department of the All India Institute for Medical Sciences (AIIMS) joined the CBI on investigation to study the postmortem report of the late actor.
Sudhir Gupta, Head of the AIIMS forensic department, said, “I have constituted a medical board on the request of the CBI. The five member AIIMS medical board will examine the autopsy report of Sushant and look into the possibility of a murder.” He further said, “AIIMS team has just received documents and videos from the CBI and we are studying it. And after looking into the documents and videos of the autopsy, we will write the perusal.”
Bollywood actor Sushant Singh Rajput allegedly committed suicide on the 14th of June at his Bandra residence in Mumbai.
While initially, the case was being investigated by the Mumbai Police, later the SC and the Central Government approved the CBI investigation.
As of now, the CBI is probing the Sushant Singh Rajput death case.
