The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) on the 28th of September, spoke about the development in the Sushant Singh Rajput death case investigation.
Responding to Mr. Sushant’s lawyer, the CBI said, the probe into actor Sushant Singh Rajput’s death is still on and the agency is investigating all aspects.
The statement of the CBI came after Sushant Singh Rajput’s lawyer, Vikas Singh, questioned the CBI.
Vikas Singh, said, “All attention is being diverted towards the drugs case. Today, we are helpless as we don’t know which direction the case is going in. Till today, the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) has not done a press briefing on what they have found out.”
The CBI said, “The Central Bureau of Investigation is conducting (a) professional investigation related to (the) death of Shri Sushant Singh Rajput in which all aspects are being looked at and no aspect has been ruled out as of date.”
Bollywood actor Sushant Singh Rajput allegedly comitted suicide on the 14th of June. Initially the case was being investigated by the Mumbai Police.
However, due to the political and social media pressure, the Central Government approved the CBI’s involvement and handed over the case to the CBI.
Along with the CBI, the Narcotics Central Bureau (NCB) and the Enforcement Directorate (ED) are also investigating the money laundering and drugs angle.
The investigation by the CBI, the NCB and the ED is underway.
