Talasani Srinivas Yadav, the Animal Husbandry, Fisheries and Cinematography Minister of Telangana, on the 21st of May, conducted a meeting with a few Tollywood celebrities.
The meeting was organised to discuss resumption of film shootings of Tollywoood industry.
Mr. Yadav during the meeting assured the actors to soon start the shooting and said the Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) would soon take decision on song and movie shootings.
The Minister also said the State Government is discussing opening of cinema theatres and strategizing the protocols for maintenance of social distancing to prevent the spread of the Novel Coronavirus. However, a final call would be taken by K. Chandrashekar Rao, the Chief Minister of Telangana, after reviewing the situation post lockdown 4.0.
Since March, all cinema theatres are shut in the wake of the pandemic illness, the Novel Coronavirus or COVID-19.
In order to assure social distancing and necessary measures to curb the spread of the virus, Tollywood actors, directors and celebrities said they would soon submit a video.
The video would demonstrate the measures and protocols which would be followed by film cast and crew during indoor and outdoor shoots.
Today’s meeting was attended by many actors, directors and producers like D. Suresh Babu, Allu Aravind, C. Kalyan, Akkineni Nagarjuna, Dil Raju, Gemini Kiran, Shyam Prasad Reddy, S.S. Rajamouli, V.V. Vinayak, Trivikram Srinivas, N. Shankar, Koratala Siva and Ram Mohan Rao.
