It is known among the Tamil movie lovers that the industry’s all rounder T. Rajendra, has always loved talking about himself. But at a press meet recently for Vizhithiru, an upcoming Tamil thriller film, the star took it a bit too far.
The actress of the film, Dhansika took the stage to share her experience acting in the film. She went on to thank a few people who worked on Vizhithiru and unfortunately missed thanking the self obsessed T. Rajendra. By the way, T. Rajendra is NOT the director but played a special appearance in just one of the songs in the film.
Yet, he felt it was incredibly rude of her not to mention him and decided to attack her bringing Dhansika to tears. T. Rajendar went ballistic and accused her of forgetting him because she’s worked with superstar Rajnikanth in Kabali.
The actress was flustered and tried to apology adding that she was nervous and did not intentionally miss out his name. But TR was on a rampage of ranting and refused to stop even after the apology.
In fact, he decided to not accept her apology for one of the most bizarre reasons, “You haven’t come dressed in a saree and you are saying sorry.”
Dhansika made another attempt to mend the issue and told him she respected him dearly but in return, the cocky man asked her where he could sell her respect.
TR then lectured the quiet actress on stage etiquette disregarding the disrespectful rant he was giving.
The saddest part about this was that the other men who were sitting on stage with her did nothing to support the actress. Instead, they sat on their seats laughing and applauding TR’s rant.
He ended his rant by explaining that now since he attacked Dhansika the media would give the film more attention. But it does get you thinking what TR’s reaction would have been if it was a prominent male star in Dhansika’s place.
Social media is blowing up and condemning TR’s behavior and questioning the men who refused to say a word against the big mouthed small minded star.
