In Tamil Nadu’s Chennai, a Tamil actress Pauline Jessica, popularly known by her stage name Deepa, died on the 18th of September, Saturday.
According to sources, Ms. Pauline Jessica is said to have committed suicide, as the police found her body hanging with a ceiling fan, at her Chennai residence. The actor, who was a native of Andhra Pradesh, was last seen in the movie Vaaitha, which was released on the 27th of May 2022.
Although Ms. Pauline Jessica died on the 18th of September, the news came into light on the 20th of September. As per sources, the police were summoned to the scene by her neighbours, who informed the police after two days.
Furthermore, the body of the actress has been sent for an autopsy to the Government Kilpauk Medical College in Chennai.
Moreover, the police said, “We are investigating the alleged suicide of popular actor Pauline Jessica from all sides and are taking the help of CCTV.” The police also confirmed that they have recovered a suicide letter in which the late actor mentioned a failed relationship to be the cause of her extreme step to commit suicide.
On the other hand, the police also seized a diary of the actress, in which she mentioned how she is not happy with her life and has no one to support her. She also spoke about a failed relationship, as the person she was in love with rejected her. After receiving the diary, the police is also trying to connect to her boyfriend and continue an investigation into the matter.
The investigation is underway.
