Telugu Mimicry Artist Hari Kishan Passws Away

On the 23rd of May, Hari Kishan passed away after prolonged illness.

Mr. Kishan is popular in the Tollywood industry as mimicry artist and started mimicry as a profession at the age of 8 years.

Born on the 30th of May, 1963 in Eluru and died at the age of 57.

On the 12th of January 1971, Hari Kishan performed on stage for the first time and since then he gained fame in the field of mimicry. Hari Kishan hosted over 10,000 mimicry shows and he went on to feature in a couple of films in the film industry.

He has established a World Record in Mimicry on 24th March 2000 by imitating 100 human voices in one hour and awarded the title of “Sata Kantha Dhvani Anukarana Dureena.”

Besides being featured in films as mimicry artist, he also worked as a mimicry teacher in Potti Sriramulu Telugu University for nearly 12 years.

Final rites of Mr. Hari Kishan would be done on the evening of the 23rd of May.
