A Tollywood prostitution racket in the U.S., was recently unveiled and a shocking 42 page charge sheet was released. Here is a review of the recent racket busted in the United States. Here is a review of the racket along with the details of the charge sheet. 

1. The racket began when one of the victims approached the Chicago Police complaining about a sex racket in the city.

2. Kishan Modugumudi a former Tollywood producer and his wife Chandra were arrested in April by federal agencies.  

3. The 42 page charge sheet alleges the involvement of female Tollywood actors visiting the U.S., on temporary visas.  

4. The charges reveal 4 actresses were lured to the U.S., with promises of an acting job. The actresses were forced to live in dingy apartments to wait for their next appointment.  

5. The clients were charged up to $ 3000 for each sexual encounter according to the charge sheet.

6. Officials found a log book with details of every sexual encounter organized by the accused in Chicago. The ledger was found during a search of the couple’s apartment in West Belden Avenue.

7. The women were sent to meet clients at conferences in New Jersey, Dallas and Washington.  

8. The main accused Kishan, a NRI businessman rose to fame as a producer in Tollywood. The charge sheet reveals Kishan threatened one of the actresses if she spoke to the law enforcement agencies.

9. Dozens of negotiating text messages were found on Chandra’s phone with multiple clients. The messages showed Chandra haggling with the clients on which women were available and at what price.  

10. The federal police in Chicago filed the case a few months ago and arrested the couple in April. The two are in federal custody in Washington DC. The couple’s two underage children were sent to Child Welfare Officials in Virginia.
