Popular TV actor Vaibhavi Upadhyay passed away in a tragic car accident on Tuesday, the 23rd of May.
The news of her sudden demise came into light after Producer-actor J.D. Majethia, who had the privilege of working with Vaibhavi on his TV serial Sarabhai Vs Sarabhai, confirmed the tragic news and expressed his disbelief. In a shared post, J.D. Majethia said, “Life is so unpredictable. A very fine actress ,dear friend Vaibhavi upadhyay popularly known as“ jasmine “of Sarabhai vs Sarabhai passed away. She met with an accident in north. Family will bring her to mumbai tomorrow morning around 11 am for last rites . RIP vaibhavi.”

Getting into the details of the unfortunate accident, Vaibhavi was driving with her fiance in Chandigarh, when she lost the control of the car, and met with an accident, leading to her death.
Meanwhile, the family of Vaibhavi who rushed to Chandigarh said they would bring her mortal remains to Mumbai, where her last rites would be held.
The TV industry said they lost a gem and expressed mourn over the demise of a brilliant actor. Vaibhavi started her career in early 20s and was known for her remarkable performances in popular shows like C.I.D and Adaalat. However, she is best remembered for her portrayal of the character Jasmine in the beloved sitcom Sarabhai Vs Sarabhai.
The news of her untimely demise in a car accident has left the entertainment world in shock.
