Born on the 23rd of October 1979, Prabhas entered the Telugu film industry with movie Eeswar (2002.) Though Prabhas is the son of late U. Surya Narayana Raju, a well known Telugu producer, he did not plan to become an actor. With a degree in engineering, Venkata Satyanarayana Prabhas Raju Uppalapati wanted to become a businessman. However, destiny had other plans for him and he became a superstar in a few years.
