Veteran Malayalam actor Mr. V.P. Khalid passed away due to a cardiac arrest, on the 24th of June, Friday.
The famous TV and film actor Mr. V.P. Khali, 70 years old, was shooting for his latest film with director Mr. Jude Antony, at Vaikom, Kochi, Kerala. According to sources, Mr. V.P. Khalid was resting after breakfast and when he wasn’t seen for long, the crew at the spot looked for Mr. V.P. Khalid and found him lying unconscious.
During the shoot, Mr. V.P. Khalid suffered a cardiac arrest and was rushed to hospital, where the doctors pronounced him dead.
Highlighting Mr. V.P. Khalid’s achievement, he was a popular stage actor with Alleppey Theatres and soon became a recognized actor in the TV and film industry. Fans and celebrities are offering condolences to the senior actor and his family on social media. Mr. V.P. Khalid was popularly known for his character Sumesh in the sitcom Marimayam. His humour and love for acting won many hearts.
Meanwhile, Mr. V.P. Khalid Khalid is survived by his cinematographer sons Shaiju Khalid, Jimshi Khalid, and director son Khalid Rahman.
