Due to the ceasefire violation by Pakistan in Rajouri district children at a school nearby were left stranded. The school is located at Manjakote sector in Rajouri district in Jammu and Kashmir.
The Headmaster of the school announced the children would be kept inside till the firing stops. The media channels have reported nearly 100 students are stranded in that school. This has been done to ensure the safety of the children and avoid them from getting in the line of fire.
The secondary and higher secondary schools in Kashmir reopened on Monday after the winter vacation.
