A video of six young men molesting a minor girl from Jehanabad in Bihar has gone viral on the internet. The disturbing video taken by one of the accused shows a group of men fearlessly ripping the clothes off a minor girl in the middle of a deserted road.
Senior IPS officer Nayyar Hasnain Khan formed a special investigation team (SIT) to investigate the video that has caused yet another outrage in the Country. The minor girl in the video is seen crying and desperately trying to fight her attackers while many stood around watching.
The police have stated most of the attackers are teenagers and four among the 6 men have been arrested. A motorcycle seen in the video was a vital clue that helped the police track the group down.
The victim, in this case, is yet to be tracked down and the police are working towards finding her. The police will require an official statement from the girl to have a full proof case.
The SIT is conducting door to door searches in the neighboring villages to find the two men who managed to evade the police. The mobile phone which took the video of the incident was recovered by the police today.
A First Investigation Report was registered against the accused men under the strict Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act.
