Madan Lal Saini, the President of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) in Rajasthan, passed away on the 24th of June.
Madan Lal Saini, 75 years old, died around 7:09 P.M., at the All India Institute of Medical Science (AIIMS) Hospital in Delhi.
A source from the AIIMS said, “He was later shifted to the ICU after his condition further deteriorated. He passed away today around 7:09 P.M.”
Mr. Saini was suffering from a lung infection and on the 22nd of June, was admitted to a private hospital in Jaipur. When his condition started worsening, he was immediately shifted to the AIIMS Hospital, Delhi.
The news of his demise broke out on the evening of the 24th of June.
Madan Lal Saini was appointed as the President of the BJP in 2018. He also served as a Member of the Legislative Assembly (MLA) and a Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh volunteer.
On the 25th of June, the body of Mr. Saini will be kept at the Party office in Jaipur from 7:30 A.M., to 10:00 A.M., so people can pay their last respects.
The last rites will be performed at 3:00 P.M., on the 25th of June in Sikar, Rajasthan.
Ashok Gehlot, the Chief Minister of Rajasthan, Vice President M. Venkaiah Naidu, Prime Minister Narendra Modi and other political leaders took to Twitter and shared their condolences to Saini’s family.

An obituary for Saini will be read out in the Rajya Sabha on the 25th of June, before the session is adjourned for the day.
The BJP also cancelled their Party meeting, scheduled to be held on the 25th of June at 9:30 A.M.
