Increased temperature and heat wave will continue in Telangana until the 12th of May.

The India Meteorological Department (IMD) issued a notice to Telangana State, stating the temperature may increase in the upcoming days.

Earlier this week, the IMD said, some regions of Telangana are expected to cross the current temperature, which is 41 degrees Celsius (℃.) Adding to the existing report, the IMD issued a heat wave alert to Telangana for the coming days, till the 12th of May.

The weather reports state, “After May 8, a confluence zone is expected to form over Telangana and adjoining areas leading to drop in temperatures. People have been advised to remain indoors especially between noon and 3 P.M.”

Last week, some places of Telangana like Khammam, Jagtial, Mahbubabad, Nalgonda and Jayashankar Bhupall, witnessed temperatures crossing 45 °C.

Based on weather reports, the places where the temperature may rise are Adilabad, Komaram Bheem, Nirmal, Jagtial, Mancherial, Rajanna Sircilla, Peddapalli, Karimnagar, Bhadradri Kothagudem, Yadadri, Warangal, Mahbubabad, Khammam, Suryapet and Nalgonda.

People are advised to avoid going out during the afternoon and stay indoors till the 12th of May.

A drop in temperature will be a major relief for the citizens of Telangana, however, until then, the citizens will have to tolerate the heat.
