On Thursday, a police task force arrested four drug peddlers and seized cocaine, LSD and Charas (hashish) from them.

The police Task Force received a tip off and arrested B Tarun Das (22) from Gachibowli, Sanjay Kumar Jhanki Das (53) a businessman from Goa, N. Akash Singh (22) a cricket coach from Nanakramguda, and Saket Jaiswal (26) from Kondapur.

Reports revealed that Saket is a native of Nepal who was studying engineering in NIT, Warangal. During his graduation, Saket visited Goa on a regular basis where he met Sanjay who sold LSD and Cocaine. Saket began buying drugs from Sanjay regularly and then moved to Hyderabad after his studies.

Saket was living in Kondapur and through a common friend, he met Tarun and Akash. Tarun and Akash were regular ganja (marijuana) smokers and Saket introduced them to LSD.

Task Force DCP B. Limba Reddy said, “Soon, the trio started selling drugs in Hyderabad. Saket used to purchase LSD blot paper for 500 from Sanjay and sell the same to Akash and Tarun for 1,000. Tarun and Akash were selling it to others for 2,000.”

A few days ago, Tarun and Akash insisted Saket get them more drugs. So, Saket called Sanjay who came to Hyderabad with cocaine, LSD, and Charas.

The Task Force team nabbed Akash and Tarun who were trying to sell LSD near Vani Medical Hall at Chikkadpally. The duo gave the cops all the information required to arrest Sanjay and Saket as well.

The items seized by the Task Force were, three grams of cocaine, 22 blot papers of LSD, 20 grams of Charas, 10 sugar cubes containing LSD and four cell phones from them. The four men arrested were handed over to the Chikkadpally police for further investigation.
