On the 17th of June, Bangladesh won the One Day International (ODI) match against West Indies in the International Cricket Council (ICC) World Cup at the Cooper Associates County Ground in Taunton, England.

This year, England is hosting the ICC World Cup, which started on the 30th of May and will continue till the 14th of July.

In the 23rd ODI match, West Indies managed to score 321 runs and had a loss of 8 wickets after 50 overs. Bangladesh, on the other hand, scored 322 runs and lost 3 wickets after 41.3 overs. The match was disrupted due to rain after Bangladesh batted for 41.3 overs.

Although the rain led to the cancellation of the match and Team Bangladesh played for only 41.3 overs, they won against West Indies by 7 wickets.

Team West Indies played a total of 4 matches so far. Out of the 4 matches, West Indies lost 3 matches against Australia, England and Bangladesh, played on the 6th, the 14th and the 17th of June respectively. West Indies won a match on the 31st of May against Pakistan.

On the other hand, Team Bangladesh played 4 matches, on the 2nd, the 5th, the 8th and the 17th of June. Out of the four matches, including the one against West Indies, Bangladesh won 2 matches against South Africa and West Indies and lost the other two matches against New Zealand and England.

Shakib Al Hasan, a player of the Bangladesh Cricket Team, was declared the Man of the Match as he scored 124 runs off 99 balls. Liton Das also performed well and scored 94 runs off 69 balls.

After defeating West Indies, Bangladesh is scheduled to play 4 more ODI matches against Australia, Afghanistan, India and Pakistan on the 20th of June, the 24th of June, the 2nd of July and the 5th of July respectively.
