An Indian Coast Guard helicopter crash landed near Nandgaon in Raigad District in Maharashtra. The incident which took place in the afternoon made everyone suspect the worst.
Fortunately, the four officers on board survived and one female officer was injured. The female officer was rushed to the Naval hospital after the helicopter was tracked.
The chopper was flying over Mumbai and crashed at 2:40 P.M., 160 Kms away from the city. An Indian Navy Seaking helicopter with a medical team was sent out to rescue the stranded officers. The Officers were successfully rescued and returned to Mumbai.
