Prime Minister Narendra Modi is on a two day visit to Japan for the G20 (Group of Twenty) Summit, being held in Osaka, Japan.

This is the 14th G20 Summit, which is being hosted by Japan this year, at the International Exhibition Center.

Twenty countries such as Argentina, Australia, Brazil, Canada, China, the European Union, France, Germany, India, Indonesia, Italy, Japan, Mexico, Russia, Saudi Arabia, South Africa, South Korea, Turkey, the United Kingdom (U.K.,) and the United States (U.S.,) are present in Japan to attend the Summit.

PM Narendra Modi conducted bilateral meetings with the presidents of France, Germany, Japan and the U.S., along the sidelines of the G20 Summit. During these bilateral meetings, Modi discussed several issues and tried to strengthen the relations with the respective countries.

Apart from Germany, the U.S., France and Japan, Mr. Modi also met the leaders of Russia and China and discussed briefly about national security and global terrorism with them.

Mr. Modi also proposed to conduct an international conference about global terrorism.

During the G20 Summit, Mr. Modi shared his opinion about climate change, development issues and health.

Modi is scheduled to meet Donald Trump and discuss the issues of trading, tariffs and security.

The G20 Summit will conclude on the 29th of June.
