Kamal Haasan Gives a Sensational Speech About Big Boss

On Wednesday, the Hindu Makkal Katchi, filed a complaint asking for a ban on the TV show Bigg Boss (Tamil,) with the Chennai Police Commissioner. “Our demand is that Bigg Boss should be banned and we do not want Kamal Haasan to host this show,” Arjun Sampath, the Founder and State President of Hindu Makkal Katchi said.
Addressing a press conference, Actor, Kamal Haasan said Bigg Boss is not against the Tamil culture. He even said he will not apologize for all the accusations made by the Hindu Makkal Katchi against him and the show.
Haasan further questioned the press reporters by asking them, “For 37 years, I have been working in movies and I have done bold scenes but what have I done in Bigg Boss which is against the Tamil culture?”
“They say I need to be arrested but I’m very sure that my justice system will take care of it. I don’t have to worry about people who claim that or insist on me getting arrested. I don’t mind going in, it will prove the strength of my justice system,” Kamal said addressing the Hindu Makkal Katchi who carried out a protest outside Star Vijay TV’s office demanding a ban on Big Boss.
On speaking about the Hindu Makkal Katchi, Kamal explained, “this show has been running for the last 11 years, they might not be watching it because they do not know Hindi but it is there in Kannada also, all they know is culture, they do not know the country.”
One of the press reporters questioned whether the show is very much important. He simply quoted, “How much cricket is needed, in the same way, Bigg Boss is required.”
Furthermore, the press reporter claimed Tamil Thai Vazhthu which was sung by the participants shows their disrespect towards the song. The actor, said, “There are a lot of people in the show who do not know how to speak Tamil, so the other participants were just making them learn Tamil Thai Vazhthu, there is nothing wrong in doing that.”
When one of the lady reporters asked him for his opinion on the assault case in Kerala, he said, “That is the respect I have for law and for justice in our nation. I absolutely show solidarity with the victim.”
“The safety of women is important to me, it is our duty to make sure that women are safe. It is not only about an actor’s safety,” Kamal Haasan explained.
