Rahul Gandhi, the President of the Indian National Congress (INC,) is all set to start his campaign in Telangana for the Lok Sabha elections from the 1st of April.

During the Telangana Assembly elections held on the 7th of December 2018, the INC did not fare well and won only 19 seats from the 119 seats available.

With Narendra Modi and Rahul Gandhi holding their campaigns in different parts of Telangana, the election just got exciting. Modi started his campaign with a speech, on the 29th of March, at Mahbubnagar. His second speech is going to be on the 1st of April, at the L.B. Stadium in Hyderabad.

Rahul Gandhi, on the other hand, is going to start his campaign with a public meeting in Zaheerabad on the 1st of April at 12 P.M. After the Zaheerabad speech, Rahul is going to give another speech at 2 P. M. in Nagarkurnool and third one in Huzurnagar of the Nalgonda constituency at 4 P.M.

The INC also has plans of making sure Rahul Gandhi delivers speeches in at least 12 to 14 Telangana Lok Sabha constituencies.

Because of how badly the previous alliance of the INC performed during the Telangana Assembly elections, the INC decided to contest the Telangana Lok Sabha elections on its own.

However, while the INC is contesting alone, parties like the Communist Party of India (CPI) and the Telangana Jana Samiti (TJS) stated, they will discuss whether they will support the INC in the Telangana Lok Sabha elections.

With less than two weeks to go for one of the largest Lok Sabha elections to be held in the Country, the fight between the Indian National Congress (INC) and the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) is almost neck to neck.

The Lok Sabha elections will start on the 11th of April and end on the 19th of May.

The results of the elections are going to be released on the 23rd of May.

Stay tuned for more updates.
