Prime Minister Narendra Modi, on the 30th of June, returned with his radio show, Mann Ki Baat.

Mann Ki Baat is a show hosted by Narendra Modi, which is broadcasted every month on the All India Radio (AIR,) DD News and DD Channel.

The first episode of Mann Ki Baat was broadcasted on the 3rd of October 2014.  Since then, every month, Mr. Modi connects with the people of the Nation and addresses the issues prevalent in India and speaks about development.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi chose the blind medium, radio, to connect to the people as most of the rural places in India do not have the television facility, whereas radio is accessible by every citizen across India.

The last episode of Mann Ki Baat was broadcasted on the 24th of February 2019, before the Lok Sabha elections.

In the last episode, Mr. Modi announced, due to the Model Code of Conduct during the Lok Sabha elections, the show would be suspended until the results of the elections are announced.  He said, after his victory, he will be back on the last Sunday of May. He was, however, unable to do so.

After the tremendous victory of the PM Modi led Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) in the Lok Sabha elections, Modi finally returned with Mann Ki Baat.
