Prime Minister Narendra Modi, on the 2nd of July, conducted a Parliamentary meeting of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP.)

The meeting was organised to discuss the agenda of the Party after winning the Lok Sabha elections. During the meeting, Mr. Modi issued directives to the Members of Parliament (MPs,) asking them to actively participate in the debates and other activities of the ongoing Parliament session.

The meeting started at 10:24 A.M., and concluded around 11:00 A.M., at the Parliamentary Library building, Delhi.

Initially, the meeting was supposed to be held on the 25th of June, however, due to the sudden demise of Madan Lal Saini, the President of the BJP in Rajasthan, the meeting was cancelled at the time.

Amit Shah, the Home Minister of India, Rajnath Singh, the Defence Minister of India, J.P. Nadda, the Working President of the BJP and other Cabinet Ministers of the BJP were present at the meeting.

After the meeting, the MPs of the Modi Government headed to attend the 12th day of the Parliament session at the Parliamentary Library building.

The Parliament session of the 17th Lok Sabha started from the 17th of June and will continue till the 26th of July.
