Rishi Kapoor, the legendary Bollywood actor, plans to return to India after his 8 month treatment in New York, the United States of America (U.S.A.)
Rishi Kapoor, accompanied by Neetu Kapoor, was in New York for 8 months due to his cancer treatment.
According to sources, Kapoor’s treatment is now over and he will be back to India in August, a month before his 67th birthday.
Rishi Kapoor, who is now cancer free and doing well, addressed the Mumbai Mirror and said, “Yes, I am trying to return by August end, depending on what the doctors at the hospital say. I have recovered well and I am feeling good. Must be 100% fit by the time I am back.”
In May 2019, Rishi Kapoor completed eight months of his treatment in New York and was declared cancer free.
Ranbir Kapoor, the son of Rishi Kapoor who is in India, often visits his father in New York.
Apart from Ranbir Kapoor, Bollywood stars such as Shah Rukh Khan, Deepika Padukone, Vicky Kaushal and others also visited Rishi Kapoor.
