K. Chandrashekar Rao, the Chief Minister of Telangana, is expected to expand his Cabinet on the 19th of June, after the State executive meeting of the Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS.)
The TRS is scheduled to conduct the State executive meeting, following which, KCR will induct 12 members into his Cabinet.
According to sources, as of now, 6 portfolios are vacant in the Cabinet of KCR, which will be filled by new Members of Parliament (MPs) of the TRS.
KCR is expected to induct more Cabinet Ministers, so that a full time finance minister can, on the 5th of July, present the budget in the State Assembly.
K.T. Rama Rao (KTR,) the Working President of the TRS, as well as T. Harish Rao, a member of the TRS, are also expected to get a post in KCR’s Cabinet.
A total of 12 ministers in the Telangana Cabinet will hold a meeting on the 18th of June and decide the Cabinet Ministers.
After the 2018 Telangana Assembly elections, KCR inducted a total of 11 ministers, including the Home Minister of Telangana.
However, an official announcement regarding the expansion of the Telangana Cabinet is yet to come.
