Suicide terrorists attacked the Border Security Force (BSF) camp near the Srinagar airport. The attack began before dawn today as the terrorists packed with explosives, opened fire on the BSF soldiers. The attack has led to the death of one soldier and three of the terrorists were killed.

The firing is still underway as more terrorists continue to attach the camp. It has been reported that the Afzal Guru squad a Pakistan based terror group has claimed responsibility for the attack.

A group of nearly 5 terrorists managed to breach through four layers of BSF security at the 182 battalions at 3:45 A.M.

The top police officer Munir Khan reported at 8:30 A.M., “We know the exact location of the terrorists.”

The terrorists injured three BSF soldiers who were rushed to a nearby hospital.

As soon as the news of the attack came, all the flights to Srinagar were stopped and the roads leading to the airport were blocked.

The BSF camp is located near the Srinagar Civil and Technical airport which is used by the armed forces and VIPs. The BSF soldiers are responsible for guarding one side of the airport’s outer ring.
