The Pakistani Military, on the 5th of March, violated the ceasefire along the Line of Control (LoC) in Jammu and Kashmir.

The Pakistani soldiers violated the ceasefire along the LoC in Nowshera and Sundarbani sectors of Jammu and Kashmir.

Lt Col Devender Anand, the Defence Spokesperson of the Indian Army, said, “At about 10:30 hours (10:30 A.M.), Pakistan continued its nefarious designs and third time in a day again initiated unprovoked ceasefire violation by heavy shelling with artillery and firing of small arms along LoC in Nowshera and Sunderbani sectors,”

The Indian Army is strongly and effectively retaliating against the Pakistani troops and no casualties have been reported yet.

Even on the 27th of February, the Pakistani Military violated the ceasefire in the areas of Poonch and Rajouri district, along the LoC in Jammu and Kashmir.

The Pakistani Military violated the 2003 Ceasefire Agreement, which states, the armed forces of both the Countries cannot attack across the LoC. The agreement was signed between the nuclear armed forces of India and Pakistan to curb cross border violence.

The Jammu and Kashmir Government, on the 6th of March, announced, schools and colleges within 5 km of the LoC will remain closed on the 6th of March.
