The Novel Coronavirus or COVID-19 vaccine developed in China is likely to be ready for the public from November.
According to the Chinese Center for Disease Control and Prevention (CDCP,) the general public of China would be able to use the COVID-19 vaccine in November.
According to sources, China developed as many as four potential vaccines to fight the Novel Coronavirus. All the four vaccines are in the fourth stage of trials and would be ready soon.
Of the four vaccines, three of them completed the trials and were offered to essential workers under an emergency use programme.
The three approved vaccines were developed by a unit of state pharmaceutical giant China National Pharmaceutical Group (Sinopharm) and the United States of America (U.S.A.,) listed, Sinovac Biotech.
The fourth COVID-19 vaccine was developed by CanSino Biologics, which was approved for use by the Chinese Military in June
Guizhen Wu, the Chief Biosafety Expert of CDCP said, phase 3 clinical trials of one vaccine is said to be still in process.
During the clinical trials of the three vaccines , Guizhen Wu herself took the vaccine in April.
Ms. Wu said she experienced no abnormal symptoms in recent months after taking an experimental vaccine.
However it is yet to be known that out of three vaccines which one she took for the experimental trial.
While the other three vaccines are likely to be ready in November, the fourth one by CanSino Biologics would be ready by December 2020.
