Donald Trump Writes Generous Letter To New US President Joe Biden, Follows Modern Tradition

Donald Trump, the former President of the United States of America (U.S.A.,) left a generous letter to Joe Biden, the newly elected U.S.A., President.

Before departing from the White House, Donald Trump wrote to Mr. Biden and extended wishes to him.

Mr. Trump missed the inauguration ceremony of Joe Biden as he was scheduled to fly to Florida on the 20th of January.

Speaking of the letter addressed to him, Joe Biden said he would not immediately reveal the contents of the letter out of respect for Mr. Trump. He said, “The President wrote a very generous letter. Because it was private, I will not talk about it until I talk to him, but it was generous.”

Meanwhile, a senior aide to Donald Trump said the letter was a private note to Joe Biden, praying for his success.

The outgoing president’s letter would be left on the Resolute Desk in the Oval Office.

Though the content of the letter is not revealed, a senior official of the White House said it to be a heartfelt note.

The White House press secretary Jen Psaki said, “This is a letter that was private, as he said to you all, it was both generous and gracious, and it was just a reflection of him not planning to release the letter unilaterally.”

Writing a letter to the newly elected president by an outgoing President is a modern tradition..

President George W. Bush wrote a similar note to President Barack Obama. He in 2017 followed the tradition and wrote to Donald Trump.

Now Donald Trump, keeping up with the tradition of the U.S.A., administration wrote a letter to Joe Biden.

Joe Biden took charges as the 46th President of the United States of America (U.S.A.)
