Hillary Clinton: Indian religious leaders play a vital role in world peace

Hillary Clinton is now busy with her early presidential campaign. Recently she met with the Jain leader Acharya Dr Lokesh Muni along with Karamjit Singh Dhaliwal, Congressman Joe Crowley and Congresswoman Grace Meng on the occasion of 10th foundation year of Ahimsa Vishwa Bharti.

The Democratic presidential hopeful Hillary Clinton said that United states and India should fight violence, terrorism and poverty together.  She also remarked that India will emerge as a key player in the near future and predicted India to play game changing role on the international platform.

“Violence and terrorism cannot solve any issues, problems can be solved through dialogues and discussions,” She noted.

According to a statement release, Clinton was all praises about the ‘Peace Education’ programme of Acharya Muni,and that religious leaders can play a vital role in making the world a better place to live in.

During the meet, Muni invited Clinton to India to participate in 10th Anniversary celebration of Ahimsa Vishwa Bharti. It is still unclear if she agreed to visit India

Hillary Clinton is now hopeful of Democratic presidential nomination to run for the White House in 2016. This is her second bid, she lost the Democratic Party primaries to current US President Barack Obama in 2008.  If elected, she would be the first woman president of the United States.
