A mob in Indonesia slaughtered 292 crocodiles in West Papua area. This triggered mass outrage among the locals who retaliated by slaughtering 292 crocodiles.
This bizarre incident occurred last week after the mob stormed into a crocodile farm and mercilessly killed the reptiles. The mob used knives, machetes and swords to slaughter the animals.
The mob tied up the dead reptiles and stacked them to prove some kind of superiority. Some of them continued to stab the dead reptiles in sheer anger. Even baby crocodiles were attacked and repeatedly struck till life left their bodies.
Local media reports suggest the police reached the spot where the brutality was taking place. However, the authorities were outnumbered by the mob and failed to stop the massacre.
The man who the mob was allegedly avenging fell into an enclosure with reptiles where he was attacked and killed.
