5.6 Magnitude Earthquake Strikes Tokyo, No Tsunami Warning

Tokyo: An earthquake with magnitude 5.6 measuring on Richter scale jolted Tokyo and surrounding areas on Monday. According to Japan Meteorological Agency, no Tsunami warning issued. However, no reports of damage and injuries are reported so far.

The quake centered in Ibaraki prefecture just northeast of the Japanese capital shook the buildings and created panic in the people. It also halted the train lines.
