The Duchess of Cambridge, Kate Middleton, has been admitted to the Lindo Wing at St Mary’s Hospital on Saturday morning ahead of the birth of the second Royal Baby.

The Duchess of Cambridge was admitted at 06.00 hrs to St. Mary’s Hospital, Paddington, London and is in the early stages of labour, accompanied by Prince William. The Duchess travelled by car from Kensington Palace to the Hospital.

The new arrival will be fourth-in-line to the throne, behind brother George, father William and grandfather Prince Charles.

The pregnancy was confirmed in September last year when Clarence House tweeted, “The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are very pleased to announce that The Duchess of Cambridge is expecting their second child”.
