Mr. Sher Bahadur Deuda, the Prime Minister of Nepal, is set to begin his three day tour of India, on the 1st of April.
According to sources, the Nepal Prime Minister would begin his tour on Friday and be accompanied by high level officials from Nepal and his spouse Ms. Arzu Deuba. As per the schedule, Mr. Sher Bahadur Deuba would meet Mr. S. Jaishankar, the External Affairs Minister of India.
On the second day, the Nepal PM would meet Mr. Narendra Modi, the Prime Minister of India and other union ministers.
Furthermore, after assuming office as the Nepal Prime Minister in 2021, this is the first abroad trip of Mr. Sher Bahadur Deuba. In addition, the Prime Minister of Nepal would visit Varanasi, Uttar Pradesh. In a press statement, the Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) said India and Nepal said, “In recent years, the partnership has witnessed significant growth in all areas of cooperation. The upcoming visit will provide an opportunity to the two sides to review this wide-ranging cooperative partnership and to progress it further for the benefit of the two peoples.”
Mr. Sher Bahadur Deuba delegation is likely to leave for Nepal on the 4th of April.
